We will be holding a special event, "Open Reel Night," where you can leisurely enjoy "Ryuichi Sakamoto: Musics - open reel listening room," which is usually only available for a limited time during regular exhibition hours, in the quiet venue after closing hours.
An original album by Ryuichi Sakamoto played on open reel tape.
The tapes, meticulously crafted from uncompressed master files, recreate the sound that Ryuichi Sakamoto himself heard in the studio.
During Open Reel Night, the volume is increased compared to regular exhibitions, allowing you to enjoy the sounds that Ryuichi Sakamoto heard in the studio with even greater realism.
Additionally, this evening you can enjoy a special performance of "Ryuichi Sakamoto: Playing the Piano 2026 – D." This special program, which plays Ryuichi Sakamoto's performance data on a grand piano, captivated many attendees at "sakamotocommon OSAKA 1970/2025/Osaka/Ryuichi Sakamoto" held at VS. in 2025. Enjoy newly selected performances for 2026 in this special setting, available only on this evening.
In the quiet and relaxed atmosphere unique to VS. at night, you can enjoy a drink or soft drink and let yourself be carried away by the music without worrying about the time. A night museum experience for adults, different from the usual exhibitions.
Enjoy a special summer night, slowly listening to the sounds created by Ryuichi Sakamoto.

This event is a listening event where you can enjoy music in a quiet environment. Please refrain from talking inside the venue and be considerate of other attendees.
We do not serve alcohol to customers under the age of 20. Soft drinks are also available.
Photography and videography are permitted inside the venue, but please refrain from using flash photography, recording audio, and taking photos or videos that may disturb other guests.
Please consume food and drinks only in designated areas.
Only drinks with lids are permitted.
